Jose Mourinho

I have to admit that when I first met Jose Mourinho as the manager of Chelsea, I loathed him. Every time I saw him in interviews, all I could think was "what a pompous ass." I may have been right. It was that confidence and charisma that led him to two Premier League titles with the Blues (2005, 2006). Great leaders need unwavering vision and a sense of fearlessness—they must be the rock of certainty in the face of many challenges. When Mourinho left Chelsea, the team continuity fell apart. Whether they find a comparable leader remains to be seen...but that's a previous chapter in the Mourinho biography now as he closes the deal on a three-year contract with Inter Milan.
Behind every great leader is a great team...and Mourinho brings with him the same winners that led him to victory in the past. Farias, Silvinio, and Boas were all signed on as part of the three-year deal. It's hard to find good talent and once you find it, keep it! We still wait in anticipation to see which Chelsea players will defect to once again be under the command of The Special One.
Since this writing, I have found out that Jose no longer wants to be known as "The Special One." Stay tuned to see what new superhero identity he will acquire!
